Announcement on the divestiture of “Toppers” business of Constantia ColorCap in Rybnik, Poland

As a result of this evaluation, a part of the operations of Contantia ColorCap, the so-called “Toppers” business in Rybnik will change ownership to Crispy Food A/S. This divestiture will ensure a strong setup to continue future success for our customers supplied by this facility and create an ideal combination of existing packaging know-how and additional food expertise of the new owner for all parties involved.
Crispy Food is Denmark’s largest producer of breakfast and cereal products and has more than 100 years of experience. With in-house R&D and strong quality assurance, Crispy Food is already a trusted and leading supplier of top-cups and toppers for the dairy and broader food industry. We are happy to have found with Crispy Food one of the leading food experts on the market to take over the “Toppers” business. Their food expertise combined with the packaging expertise that has been built up at this facility will create an ideal synthesis for our customers.

To note: The divestiture does only concern the facility and operations of Constantia ColorCap, so called “Toppers”, located in Rybnik, Poland. All operations conducted at Constantia ColorCap Jejkowice, such as die cut lids, remain with Constantia Flexibles and are not part of this transaction.
