5.4. Social Media and other services of third parties
5.4.1. YouTube videos
Our website integrates YouTube videos in "extended data protection mode", ensuring no user data is transferred to YouTube unless a video is played, based on your prior consent given according to Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR. Upon website visit and video play, certain data (referenced in section 4) is transmitted to YouTube regardless of whether you're logged into a YouTube or Google account. If logged in, your data is linked directly to your account; to avoid this, you must log out before video activation. YouTube stores your data as user profiles for purposes like advertising, market research, and website customization.
