Welcome on Board, Constantia Oai Hung!
Onboarding Event for over 230 employees at Constantia Oai Hung in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
It was a special day for the employees of Constantia Oai Hung in Vietnam. They had been invited to the official onboarding event on August 25 to learn more about their new Austrian parent company and to become part of the global CFLEX family. Constantia Flexibles had acquired the packaging company specialized in the local Pharma market in July.
The Head of the Pharma Division, Pierre-Henri Bruchon had travelled to Vietnam along with some other guests to attend help welcome the new employees. Before the speeches, a traditional dragon dance was performed to symbolically secure luck and success for the next years. In his speech our CEO underlined the important role of Southeast Asia in the Constantia Flexibles growth story and introduced the global Group to the guests: “Constantia Flexibles is heading for a record year in sales and earnings - and now with you, we will get even better.”
Pierre-Henri Bruchon outlined the future plans for the newest addition to the Group and explained the next steps: “We intend to support the company to continue to grow in the local market and also to expand within the region. We believe that our global presence and network should strengthen their export sales significantly”.
The Managing Director of Constantia Oai Hung, O Cam Tai, reflected on the acquisition process and explained the importance of this partnership for the company’s future: “Together with Constantia Flexibles we have exciting plans to grow our business here. Constantia Flexibles is a world leader in flexible packaging and together we are looking at a bright future".
After the speeches, the employees were invited to a lunch buffet and had the opportunity to get to know more about the Constantia Flexibles Group and the future role of Constantia Oai Hung within the group: To create some buzz in the bustling and very promising Southeast Asian pharmaceutical packaging market.
