For the past two weeks, recycling has been the #1 topic at Constantia Tobepal Logroño. Our plant has been lively with various activities aimed at raising awareness and knowledge about recycling amongst our team members. These activities brought out the importance of recycling in both domestic and industrial settings.
Express trainings: Enhancing recycling knowledge
We at Constantia Tobepal Logroño began our Recycling Days with express training sessions led by experts from Ecoembes and SEN. Ecoembes is a non-profit organization working towards making recycling of domestic packaging a reality in Spain. SEN is a leading group in environmental and waste management. Ecoembes shared valuable insights into domestic recycling, helping our colleagues understand how they can make a difference at home. Meanwhile, SEN focused on industrial recycling, providing our team with the knowledge to improve recycling practices within our plant. The response was enthusiastic, with more than 60 colleagues attending these informative sessions.
Creative recycling competition: Turning waste into wonders
One of the highlights of our Recycling Days was the recycling competition, which encouraged our colleagues to think creatively about reusing disposable materials. Participants shared innovative ideas on how to give a second life to everyday items, transforming waste into functional or decorative objects. This competition not only fostered creativity but also showed the potential for reusing materials that might otherwise end up in landfills.
Online trivia game: Testing recycling knowledge
To add an element of fun and friendly competition, we at Constantia Tobepal Logroño organized an online trivia game focused on recycling. Colleagues tested their knowledge about various recycling facts and practices, competing for the top spot on the leaderboard. This engaging activity was a hit, combining learning with entertainment, and there were plenty of prizes and surprises for all participants.
