Financial Times recognizes Constantia Flexibles in Europe’s Climate Leaders ranking
One of only 11 companies recognized in Austria.
Constantia Flexibles ranks among Europe’s Climate Leaders, according to the latest Financial Times and Statista analysis. This recognition serves as an important external validation of our progress in reducing emissions intensity, as well as our ongoing commitment to transparency in climate-related data.
The Europe’s Climate Leaders ranking identifies companies across Europe based on their reported reductions in greenhouse gas emissions intensity and additional climate-related criteria. For the latest edition, approximately 3,000 European companies were analyzed, with 600 companies ultimately receiving the distinction. Based on this selection, we are among the 20% of assessed companies. Austria, our headquarters location, is represented by 11 companies in this year’s ranking, and we are proud to be included in this group.
“We are proud to be ranked among Europe’s Climate Leaders. For us, this is more than a recognition; it is motivation to keep going. Our Net-Zero commitment gives us clear direction: reducing GHG emissions across our operations and working with partners along the value chain on measurable progress and transparent data,” said Marc Rademacher, EVP Consumer Commercial, Group Sustainability and Group R&D at Constantia Flexibles.
The ranking considers companies that demonstrate reductions in emissions intensity and meet additional climate-related criteria. These may include transparent emissions reporting, Scope 3 disclosure, and participation in frameworks such as the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and CDP where applicable.
For us, this is more than a recognition; it is motivation to keep going.
