Croatia plants achieve AA rating at BRCGS audit

We are proud to share excellent news following the successful completion of the BRCGS Packaging Materials audit at two of our Croatian plants – Constantia Umag and Constantia Zadar.

The success extends across two of our Croatian plants – both Constantia Umag and Constantia Zadar have achieved the AA rating, demonstrating consistent performance and a shared commitment to quality as well as strong commitment, teamwork, and continuous improvement efforts across all departments. This achievement reflects the dedication of the teams to maintaining high standards in product safety, quality, and operational excellence.

The audit was carried out over three days and covered all core processes, including aluminum converting, laminating, printing, slitting, and pouch production for food, pet food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical packaging. The audit confirmed that systems and practices are strong, stable, and effectively implemented across the entire site.

Working together towards excellent results

This result validates the continuous improvements implemented over the past year and confirms that the quality culture is well embedded throughout the organization at all levels: from the shop floor and maintenance to the overall factory environment, as well as logistics, quality management, and leadership.

Special thanks go to everyone involved in preparing and supporting the audit, as well as those who participated directly during the audit process. The presence and engagement of key functions — Plant Management, Quality, and Operations — played an important role in demonstrating a collective commitment to excellence.

While celebrating this achievement, the focus remains on what comes next. As highlighted during the closing meeting, the next objective will be to maintain and exceed this standard at the next unannounced audit.
