Constantia Teich launched a donation drive in support of the soogut social market
How can Constantia Teich employees help people at risk of poverty? This was the question we asked our people and the answer came quickly. With great commitment, employees organized a donation action to collect non-perishable food items and hygiene products.
The willingness to help was remarkable: within a short period of time, 13 boxes filled with everyday essentials were collected. For many customers of the soogut social market in St. Pölten, this support provides significant relief in daily lives that are increasingly affected by rising living costs and financial challenges.
People who can prove that they live at or below the poverty line have the opportunity to shop independently at soogut social markets, paying only about one-third of the regular retail price.
“I am very pleased to see the tremendous solidarity shown by our employees. This commitment truly makes a difference. We are already planning further activities,” says André Ammon, General Manager of Constantia Teich.
The company itself is also actively engaged in other social responsibility initiatives, like “Cooking with Purpose” or donating pet food.
“The renewed support from Constantia Teich is an impressive example of solidarity in action. The commitment shown by employees in collecting and providing food demonstrates how much can be achieved when companies and their employees take responsibility together. It is assistance that reaches people directly and makes a real difference where it is urgently needed,” says soogut Managing Director Wolfgang Brillmann, expressing his gratitude for this outstanding initiative.
