Constantia Nusser reaches one year without a Lost Time Injury (LTI)
We are proud to share an important milestone: Constantia Nusser has successfully reached one full year without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).
This achievement reflects the strong commitment, awareness, and teamwork of everyone involved. Safety is a core value in our daily work, and reaching this milestone demonstrates that consistent efforts and responsible behavior make a measurable difference.
To celebrate this success, colleagues came together to mark the occasion as a team. The celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on this achievement and recognize the shared contribution of all employees who help maintain a safe working environment every day.
At Constantia Nusser GmbH, safety is closely linked to quality, reliability, and responsibility. Consistent quality and reliability strengthen the trust placed in us by our customers and enable us to meet their requirements. As part of Constantia Flexibles, the site has full access to technical and material expertise, ensuring high standards across all operations.
Founded in 1923 as a letterpress printing company, Constantia Nusser GmbH quickly specialized in packaging materials for butter and cheese wrappers. With the rapid development of the dairy industry, the company continuously expanded its portfolio with innovative packaging solutions. In 1973, pharmaceutical packaging was added to the portfolio, and in 1980, the company became part of Constantia Flexibles.
Safety as a daily commitment
Today, strict quality control is ensured through state-of-the-art equipment and procedures. The site maintains high standards in quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements and operates under certifications such as ISO 9001, BRC, ISO 50001, ASI, and SMETA “Letter of Conformity.” At the same time, responsibility toward employees remains a central priority, supported by strong health protection and occupational safety measures, as well as a focus on energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental protection.
We would like to thank every colleague for their dedication and contribution to this achievement. Achieving one year LTI-free is an important accomplishment and a clear demonstration of the team's dedication to creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
Congratulations to the entire Nusser team for this excellent achievement and for making safety a priority every day.
The importance of being LTI-Free
Maintaining an LTI-free record is essential for us. We meticulously scrutinize every detail to prevent even minor incidents that could disrupt our streak. To support this, we adhere to the 10 Golden Rules of Safety, which reinforce the use of safety gear in all activities. These rules encompass practices such as wearing cut-resistant gloves when working with Doctor Blades, using a harness for tasks at heights over 2 meters, and reporting any observed unsafe situations. These examples are part of a comprehensive set of guidelines designed to ensure the safety of our colleagues from the moment they step onto the work premises.
