Constantia Afripack wins big at the IWMSA KZN Waste Management Awards
Our South African operations, Constantia Afripack, have been recognized at the recent KZN Waste Management Awards. Hosted by the Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA), the event honors organizations demonstrating excellence in sustainable waste management practices.
Held at Mount Edgecombe Country Club, the awards brought together key industry stakeholders. The evening included a keynote address by Guinness World Record holder Quinton Rutherford, who shared his insights on environmental responsibility.
Constantia Afripack received the following accolades:

These awards highlight our commitment to sustainable operations:
- The Innovation Award recognizes our implementation of practical projects that reduce waste to landfill while enhancing operational efficiency.
- The EPR Award acknowledges our efforts in reducing post-consumer waste, as well as our leadership in working with brand owners and Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) to manage EPR obligations effectively.
