Annual Aluminum Division Safety Days
Our Aluflexpack Novi plant in Umag hosted the 3rd Constantia Flexibles’ Aluminum Division Safety Days, a key event dedicated to reinforcing Safety leadership and operational excellence across our operation.
The event was opened by Daniel Winkler, EVP Aluminum Division and Sustainability and new CEO of Aluflexpack, with Lawrence Monaghan, VP Group HSSE, highlighting the strategic importance of safety at the highest levels of our organization.
HSSE managers from across the Aluminum Division gathered to align on safety objectives, share best practices, and strengthen a unified safety culture. The agenda included:
- Review of current safety performance and targets (USC, LTI, RWC)
- Root cause analysis and reporting standards
- The “Broken Windows” concept and its application in industrial safety
- PPE compliance and safe handling of hazardous materials
A guided shop floor tour at the Umag plant allowed participants to apply workshop insights in real-time - identifying risks, suggesting improvements, and reinforcing compliance.
This event marked another important step in our continuous improvement journey, fostering collaboration and shared accountability for safety across all locations.
