People, Passion, Packaging at the Forum Alpbach Innovation Marathon
As one of 8 business partners, we participated in the Technical University of Austria Innovation Marathon 2018.
As one of eight business partners, Constantia Flexibles participated in the Technical University of Austria Innovation Marathon 2018 for the second time.
The Innovation Marathon was held during the Technology Symposium last week from August 23 to August 25. It offers an opportunity to young minds – coming directly from the university – to unleash their talents on real tasks, giving us the opportunity to profit from their creativity and interdisciplinary mindset.
In the beautiful mountain scenery of Tyrol, the international students had to face the challenge of developing a product in 24 hours. Our team consisting of three women and two men from four different nations worked to develop a future flexible packaging solution for liquids the consumer will love.
A marathon is no joke, but hard work and an overnight shift paid off, resulting in a great final presentation. Big thanks to our team of students, our VP Consumer Marketing Thomas Schulz, our Head of Group Technical Innovation Dietmar Lenko and, of course, to the hosts of European Forum Alpbach.
