Even the pandemic didn’t stop us: Product testing in times of Covid-19

Constantia Flexibles’ product testing partner Romaco worked on such a solution when it was impossible to test on-site. Therefore, it enabled the packaging company to ensure their products met the strict requirements and criteria even during the pandemic.

As Constantia Flexibles' products are, so must companies be in times like these - flexible. Many faced challenges, so Constantia Flexibles had some in product testing with its newest Pharma innovation PERPETUA. It was not possible during the pandemic to conduct product tests at customers face-to-face, so they looked for a solution that would meet the strict requirements for packaging before placing it on the market. Constantia Flexibles' partner Romaco, who performs product testing for years, faced this challenge and quickly set up an online testing environment that allowed product tests via Microsoft Teams. The solution had many advantages. For example, it was easier and, on top, more cost-effective, as there was no need to travel. It does not, of course, replace on-site testing. In the future, the two companies will go back to testing as usual. Still, online testing was a good option to bridge the Covid time.

PERPETUA is the latest Pharma product innovation of Constantia Flexibles and tested at Romaco.
