This data processing information applies to the collection and processing of personal data by Constantia Flexibles Group GmbH or its affiliated companies (“Constantia Flexibles”) during your visit and use of our website (www.cflex.com), pursuant to Art. 13 and 14 GDPR.

We collect personal data when you use our website. This can be any data linked to you personally, such as name, address, email address or user behavior. 

We store the information you provide when contacting us (your email address, possibly your name and phone number) to respond to your inquiries. For services beyond mere informational use of our website, we collect additional personal data marked with an asterisk, while data in non-asterisked fields is voluntarily given.  

Furthermore, while you browse our website, we may gather the essential technical data required to display the site, ensure its stability, and uphold its security. The legal basis for this data collection is Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR.

5. Additional services and features of our site and associated data processing 

5.1. Utilization of cookies

Our use of session cookies, which remain active for a user's current visit to our site, allows us to keep track of the cookie consent, thereby enabling our online services. 

Each session cookie houses a uniquely generated identification number known as a content ID, in addition to details about its origin and storage duration. No other data is held. Analytical and Marketing cookies are used to enhance your website experience, tailor marketing to you, and help us analyze our website traffic. Your consent, per Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR, is obtained for such cookies and the associated personal data processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your browser settings or the cookie settings on our website. 

Currently, we don't use Preference cookies on our website. Preference cookies are typically used to track users' preferences and choices, like language selection, theme preferences, or other customizable options. But don't worry, since we don't use Preference cookies, we won't collect or store any specific preferences from you. 

5.2. Web Analytics  

The lawful basis for using all web analysis tools mentioned in this section is Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR, i.e., your consent to analyze tour website visitors' interests. We aim to analyze website use by our visitors to enhance our services and make them more user-friendly. If we use the analysis tools for other purposes or interests, we will directly inform you in the explanation of the respective analysis tool.

This website employs Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses “cookies", text files stored on your device which allow for analysis of your website use. The data generated by the cookie about your use of this website is typically sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to IP anonymization on this site, your IP address will be truncated by Google within the EU member states or other EEA agreement signatory states.

5.3. Online Advertising 

5.3.1. DoubleClick by Google  

Our site also employs the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to display ads relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, or avoid showing users the same ads repeatedly.

5.3.2. Google Tag Manager  

Our website uses Google Tag Manager, a solution that helps marketers manage site tags through one interface. The tag manager is a cookie-free domain. This means that no cookies are used, and no personal data is collected. The tool triggers other tags, which may collect data on their part. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. 5.3.3. Use of Google Adwords Conversion / Remarketing  

We utilize Google AdWords to highlight our attractive offers on external websites via advertising materials (referred to as Google AdWords). We can determine the success of individual advertising measures relative to the data from the advertising campaigns. The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR.

5.4. Social Media and other services of third parties  

5.4.1. YouTube videos  

Our website integrates YouTube videos in "extended data protection mode", ensuring no user data is transferred to YouTube unless a video is played, based on your prior consent given according to Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR. Upon website visit and video play, certain data (referenced in section 4) is transmitted to YouTube regardless of whether you're logged into a YouTube or Google account. If logged in, your data is linked directly to your account; to avoid this, you must log out before video activation. YouTube stores your data as user profiles for purposes like advertising, market research, and website customization. This includes providing targeted advertising and informing other users of your activities. If you wish to object to this profiling, please contact YouTube.

5.4.2 LinkedIn Insight Tag 

Our website also employs LinkedIn Insight Tag, a tool provided by LinkedIn, which enables in-depth campaign reporting and unlocks valuable insights about our website visitors. We use this tool to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and gain additional insights about the LinkedIn members interacting with our ads. 

By visiting our website, LinkedIn receives the information that you have visited our website, and the data mentioned under section 4 of this policy is transmitted to LinkedIn. This occurs whether or not you are logged into your LinkedIn account. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, your data will be directly associated with your account. 

LinkedIn uses this data to create user profiles for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or website customization. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact LinkedIn to exercise this right.

6. Data Recipients and Transfers

Your personal data is handled confidentially. It's only transferred to third parties for the necessary functioning of the website, legal requirements, or if you consent, provided these third parties are GDPR-compliant or committed to similar protection levels. We might also share your data with our processors (contractors), who are contractually obligated to follow data protection and security standards. Data can also be transferred to our subsidiaries or processors outside the EU or EEA, only if there's an adequacy decision by the European Commission or if adequate safeguards are in place. 

7. Data Storage and Erasure 

We'll delete your personal data when its purpose ceases to exist, unless there are legal record-keeping obligations or legal claims necessitating further storage. 

8. Usage Note 

Your data won't be used for automated decision-making (including profiling).

We employ technical and organizational measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, and third-party access, and continually adapt these measures to technological advancements.

According to Art. 15 et seq. GDPR, you have various rights related to your data. We will require additional information from you to efficiently handle such requests.
