Wrapping up the year with success: Constantia AFP Zadar hits LTI-free milestone
We are happy to close this year with great news – Constantia AFP Zadar has reached one year LTI-free!
From a few LTIs to zero in just twelve months, this milestone shows what is possible when safety becomes part of everyday thinking and the way we work. It is the result of teamwork, dedication, and a shared mindset that puts people first – colleagues looking out for each other every single day.
But safety is only one part of the story. Constantia AFP Zadar is a highly specialized plant focused on converting aluminum using UV-flexo and die-cutting. The team manufactures high-quality foils and lids for key industries such as Dairy, Other Food, Pharmaceuticals, and Coffee & Tea. With advanced automation and expertise in die cutting, the plant ensures precision and efficiency in every step. This combination of technical know-how and commitment to safety makes Constantia AFP Zadar a strong contributor to our success and a trusted partner for customers worldwide.
Here is to continuing this journey together – keeping safety at the heart of everything we do while driving innovation and excellence in packaging!
The importance of being LTI-Free
Maintaining an LTI-free record is essential for us. We meticulously scrutinize every detail to prevent even minor incidents that could disrupt our streak. To support this, we adhere to the 10 Golden Rules of Safety, which reinforce the use of safety gear in all activities. These rules encompass practices such as wearing cut-resistant gloves when working with Doctor Blades, using a harness for tasks at heights over 2 meters, and reporting any observed unsafe situations. These examples are part of a comprehensive set of guidelines designed to ensure the safety of our colleagues from the moment they step onto the work premises.
