Leveraging momentum with PepsiCo: Highlights from a growing partnership
In April, our team at Constantia Afripack proudly honored during the PepsiCo South Africa Supplier Roadshow — our second year taking part in this high-impact event. It was a powerful acknowledgement for the work we have done together with PepsiCo locally — and it didn’t stop there.
The success of the Roadshow led directly to something bigger: Constantia Flexibles was invited to PepsiCo’s Global Supplier Summit. And at that summit, out of more than 1,000 suppliers worldwide, we were nominated as one of just three finalists for Supplier of the Year.
This sequence of events tells a bigger story. It reflects the momentum we have been building — not just through innovation and operational excellence, but through a close, collaborative relationship with the PepsiCo teams on the ground and across the globe.

On the ground: Recognized at the South Africa Supplier Roadshow
Our return to the PepsiCo South Africa Supplier Roadshow this year was more than just a follow-up. We came with a clear message: we are growing together.
Thanks to the continued efforts of our Constantia Afripack team and strong local collaboration, we were honored during the event with a recognition of how our partnership has grown, and how our recent investment in a new extruder in South Africa is already making a difference.
The added capacity in extrusion lamination has strengthened our ability to deliver faster, more flexibly, and more sustainably — and has been a key enabler of PepsiCo’s goals in the region.
The roadshow itself was a valuable platform to engage with stakeholders across PepsiCo — from operations to procurement to leadership — and to share how we are planning ahead, not just keeping up.

On the global stage: Nominated at PepsiCo’s Supplier Summit
Following the Roadshow, we were invited to participate in the PepsiCo Global Supplier Summit, which brought together around 300 participants — a mix of PepsiCo teams and their top supplier partners.
Only about 80 suppliers were invited to the summit. Out of those, just three were shortlisted for PepsiCo’s Supplier of the Year — and we were one of them.
Being nominated among such a small, elite group was a proud moment for our global team. It gave us the chance to engage directly with PepsiCo’s Executive Committee, including CEO Ramon Laguarta and the Group CPO, and to share how we are aligned on core priorities like packaging innovation, sustainability, and localized capability.
While the final award went to Cargill, the recognition we received, especially from the South African PepsiCo team who supported our nomination, spoke volumes about the strength and direction of our partnership.
What’s next
Being recognized at the Roadshow. Earning an invitation to the Global Supplier Summit. Becoming a top-three nominee for Supplier of the Year. These weren’t isolated moments; they are part of a growing story.
At Constantia Flexibles, we are committed to building on this momentum — by staying close to our customers, investing where it matters, and continuing to deliver packaging solutions that meet the moment and move the market.
We are proud of how far we have come together with PepsiCo — and we are just getting started.
