Constantia Fromm reaches 2 years LTI‑Free
Another one of our plants showcased that the team’s strong commitment to safety, discipline and responsible daily practices results in remarkable milestones. Constantia Fromm reached two consecutive years without a Lost Time Injury (LTI)!
Achieving LTI‑free status matters because it protects what is most important, at that is our people. It also reflects a mature, well‑embedded safety culture that keeps operations stable, reliable and high‑performing.
Constantia Fromm, founded in 1978 and part of the Constantia Flexibles Pharma Satellites since 1996, operates from Remshalden near Stuttgart. With around 50 employees, the site supplies national and international pharmaceutical customers with printed and plain blister foil, child‑resistant packaging and pouch foil.
State‑of‑the‑art equipment, a modern logistics system and recent investments, including a new production site and expanded storage and shipping areas, ensure agility, precision and high quality.
Reaching 2 years LTI‑free is more than a statistic. It shows that safety is not just a requirement, but a value lived every day through awareness, teamwork and responsible decision‑making.
Congratulations to the entire Constantia Fromm team on this outstanding achievement, and thank you for making safety a shared priority and demonstrating what operational excellence looks like across our company.
The importance of being LTI-Free
Maintaining an LTI-free record is essential for us. We meticulously scrutinize every detail to prevent even minor incidents that could disrupt our streak. To support this, we adhere to the 10 Golden Rules of Safety, which reinforce the use of safety gear in all activities. These rules encompass practices such as wearing cut-resistant gloves when working with Doctor Blades, using a harness for tasks at heights over 2 meters, and reporting any observed unsafe situations. These examples are part of a comprehensive set of guidelines designed to ensure the safety of our colleagues from the moment they step onto the work premises.
