Another safety milestone: Constantia FFP celebrates 2 years LTI-free!
We are proud to announce that Constantia FFP United Kingdom has officially exceeded two years without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) — a truly remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication and care of every colleague on site.
Located in Northamptonshire, Constantia FFP combines over 55 years of expertise with state-of-the-art technology to deliver innovative flexible packaging solutions. It is one of few flexible packaging converters that can offer a complete solution in-house - from the initial design concept all the way through to final production.
Their capabilities include the manufacture of pre-made pouches and bags, mono layer or multi-layer laminates for VFFS and HFFS machines, heatseal lidding films and films for high temperature oven and microwave applications. With a 120,000 sq ft BRC AA-rated facility and a team of 105 employees, the site is a trusted partner for UK retailers and a leader in sustainable packaging.
Thank you to the entire Constantia FFP UK team for keeping safety at the heart of everything we do. Here’s to many more safe and successful days ahead!
Together, we’ve got this covered.
The importance of being LTI-Free
Maintaining an LTI-free record is essential for us. We meticulously scrutinize every detail to prevent even minor incidents that could disrupt our streak. To support this, we adhere to the 10 Golden Rules of Safety, which reinforce the use of safety gear in all activities. These rules encompass practices such as wearing cut-resistant gloves when working with Doctor Blades, using a harness for tasks at heights over 2 meters, and reporting any observed unsafe situations. These examples are part of a comprehensive set of guidelines designed to ensure the safety of our colleagues from the moment they step onto the work premises.
