Back to overview
At SNACKEX you can meet the whole savory snacks industry in one place... It’s as simple as that! Over 150 leading exhibitors from around the world are waiting to showcase their latest products regarding tomorrow's snacking needs. Of course the packaging for snacks is always developing further – this is why Constantia Flexibles will have a booth at the SnackEx to showcase our latest solutions for our customers.
What’s is going to be on display?
We will be showcasing our duplex laminates for salted snacks, and our triplex laminates for nuts and seeds and other solutions like duplex lid films. We will have a focus on easy opening functionalities, which is especially important for snacks that are consumed on-the-go with no opening devices available. We also have a focus on reclosability features to be able to store the snack for a while.
One of our highlights is our ReLap solution. Due to the combination of different technologies such as lasers, partial laminating, as well as the application of coatings, ReLap enables novel composite structures. By peeling away a strip of material a sticky surface is revealed, enabling multi reclose. (Want to know more about our “Reclose Family”? Watch the video here).
Another important innovation is our CompresSeal packaging solution. It is environmentally friendly (lower material consumption PE but with the same properties) and displays increased productivity because of higher speed on pack line.
Why are we the perfect partner for the snack industry?
“We have a very strong customer focus and develop packaging innovations together with them and of course we also have a very wide production network with an already great position in the snack market where we have acquired nice expertise”, says Petr Langas, Market Segment Leader Snacks & Hard Baked Goods. “Our integrated processes such as HD Flexo, Rotogravure printing, Solvent based and solvent free lamination, extrusion lamination, PE extrusion, embossing, vacuum metallization enable us to serve the customer in an ideal and very flexible way.”
